This qualification will provide the critical knowledge and skills required by those aspiring to middle management and/or executive roles which require a broader organisationwide management focus on project and program management and avoidance of project silos.
This qualification positions the PMO as a crucial functional unit within an organisation and the manager of the PMO as a person who performs at a senior role within an organisation.

Course Outcomes
On completion of this qualification, it is expected that learners will be equipped with the vocational skills deemed essential for appointment to a range of senior management positions in an organisation, such as Program Management Office (PMO) manager, or Program Director. Such managers require a high level of business acumen across a broad range of marketing, strategic management, human resources, change management and financial skills as well as a good understanding of a range of functional roles in an organisation and specific skills in the application of broad project management principles.

Recognition of Prior Learning
Applications for recognition of prior learning are assessed on an individual basis.
Duration and Availability
This fee-paying course is equivalent to six months full-time or one year part-time study.

Requirements to receive the award
To be eligible to receive the award Graduate Certificate in Project and Program Management, learners will be required to have successfully completed four (4) units of competency as described in the course structure.
