Course Aim/Objectives:
This unit is designed to develop knowledge and skills in identifying, acquiring, analysing and using appropriate information for organisational effectiveness, including the development of systems and the analysis of information.
Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this unit the participants will be able to:
- Utilise information systems;
- Collect analyse and review information;
- Manage the information systems;
- Develop business plan/budgets;
- Manage resource planning.

Course Assesment/Outcomes
Assessment
Assessment of your learning occurs in a number of different ways. These are the features in the assessment process.
- You will assess your own progress individually or in a group with peers following the various activities and self-tests in the unit.
- Your facilitator will monitor your completion of the set activities, and check that you have completed the requirements. These activities and exercises will form evidence for your final assessment.
- Your facilitator will be responsible for verifying that your performance has met the statement requirements.
- You will need to keep any written work or other evidence to form a portfolio for assessment.
- A workplace portfolio is the most appropriate and relevant method to demonstrate transfer of knowledge and skills from the classroom to the workplace
Award / Credential
Upon successful completion of all assessment requirements participants will receive a Statement of Attainment.
